a good weekend.

it was a crazy week. i won't bore you with the details but it has to do with decisions, lack of sleep, teeth, snot, and more lack of sleep. come friday it felt good to (finally) take a deep breathe and pick up the camera...

no less than 100times a day gage says "hold her." he holds her, burps her, puts a pacifier in, loves her.

and says..."bite. ouch. me. cry." when will our almost 4 year old learn its NOT ok to bite!?!
the culprit. its hard to stay upset with him for too long, he pulls out these cheesy faces and makes me laugh.

saturday evening we had a special outing to get ice cream. the boys were seriously shocked when we walked in.

its currently 12:17 am, why am i starting this? its much to late to stay around and chat. so, here's some pictures till next time...

a few weeks back one of my favorite persons, jenni, came up to get her hair done. her little cutie, sarah, came up too. logan and sarah are going to be such good pals, cuteness overload!! i love the time jenni and i have together, we could sit and talk for hours...not many other moms out there have 3 kids 3 and under:)

the beginning of the month we had a nearly identical morning to the same one two years ago. this time it was gage's turn. hernia surgery strikes again.

waiting for our name to be called at the hospital...poor gage had NO idea what was in store.
he insisted on wearing the nonslip hospital socks with the gown.
later that day...he wasn't feeling "it." he looks soooo sad in this picture.
when he finally did perk up he wanted chips. he ate a WHOLE can of pringles on his own. (cell phone pic)

aunt dana gave this dress to logan when she came right after logan was born. at the time it looked so big...and now, here she is wearing it. little girl is getting big!

last weekend we had a special treat with grandma kay coming down for a few days. vance loved it, i loved it, the boys loved it, logan loved it. yep, we all loved it and i'm sure she did too.


this picture cracks me up, logan looks a little startled at lane yelling "cheese!"

we ventured to a nearby museum with grandma before taking her to the airport. her time here was much too short but we're thankful for the fun visit!
for christmas the boys got a water table thingy...it was finally nice enough outside to set it up. they have had so much fun with it!!

very rarely do i get alone time with my gage. one afternoon last week lane & logan were both napping so gage helped me get dinner going. he wanted to takes pictures together so we did:) i loved this time with just him, 2 is one of my favorite ages.

summer needs to come...we've been hit with lots of cold bugs.
but summer also means band aids.
