hi.

long time no see, eh? we have been so.very.very.busy. everyday and every evening we've had something. i'm not complaining just stating. vance called me out on being a baa.hum.bug about the holidays after i stated i was ready for things to be normal, like stay home for more than one week at a time. yes, we've been gone A LOT but when we have been here things have been nutty. by the time thanksgiving is over we'll have totaled over 50 hours of trip driving time in the month of november. and probably 46 of that is me sitting (sideways) in the back seat between two car seats. (and i wonder why i have an incredibly sore back?!) this is starting to really sound like complaining now, so i'll stop and try really hard to focus on this...

I wish I had treasured the doing a little more

and geting it done a little less.

speaking of wild...these boys at bath time. (the bath water is colored w/ crayola bath drops) a whole new side of gage comes out when he's in the water, SO hyper.


and the biggest news this weekend...lane got a BIG BOY BED!! can hardly believe my little boy is in a bed. it was time though and he's done fantastic.

(and he is in the phase of not wanting his picture taken. urgh!)

although one day, he did opt to take a nap with dada. the funny thing about this picture is it looks all quiet and sweet, in reality gage was standing pulling on my leg screaming. didn't seem to bother these sleeping cuties.

nebraska(part four).

the last and final installment. a whole bunch of randomness.
really trying to walk on his own.
growing up we'd (often) have screaming contests at the dinner table. yes, you read that right. screaming. contest. dinner table. we've continued that tradition to the next generation and lane dethroned renee. loud.

he ate at least 4 powdered donuts every morning.
all he did all week. big wheel "bike" in the house.
mom and dad babysat one night while we went on a double date to the movies with renee and tom. i guess this is what they did while we were gone...hahaha.

the bouncer is made for one child. not two.
one of my projects while we were there (well actually it's been a project that has been needed to be tackled since we got married) was to clean out my closet. i found this sweet outfit for lane.
