this past weekend i had the honor of taking senior pictures for brandon. brandon is jeff&dana's nephew and somehow they trusted me to take pictures:) i had a blast doing it and am so thankful for the opportunity. vance is already thinking up a business plan for me, ha, we'll see.
...brandon graduates in class of 2011. uhm, what?! didn't i just graduate highschool?

another month older? already?

outgrowing your 'baby' carseat. your feet are hanging off the end.
and talking about being big.
your smile. you have the biggest smile.
and you smile at me, your mama, instantely. no matter what.
i've said it before, i just don't ever ever want to forget, you are such a cuddler.
your getting (more?) hair. it's coming in red. i've called your brother 'pumpkin patch' since he was born. i love it, my pumpkin patch boys, my two pumpkin patch.
your moving around a lot.
you can get anywhere you want to with ease. the army crawl way.
and you still love your brother. just recently though you start crying when he gets a little too close. you know the roughness is coming. just letting out a little alarm for me to come stop it. but at times, i think you might be a little dramatic about it. sorry bitty buddy. its cute right now, i'll probably think different in a year or two.

we do this everyday. dance in the hallway upstairs. you get a hoot out of it just as much as the rest of us. this day you were rolling on the ground and it so made me laugh. my boys. 28 & 7 months.

fun day.

it wasn't just a fun day. it was a fun, fun, FUN day. every little boys dream. fire trucks, ice cream, and running wild.

it's been a busy week, one of these days i'll get back to regular posting .yay for collages.

the babies were there too, both in "fire hero/rescue" onsies, but unfortunately they weren't pictured.

whoever said being a stay at home mom was boring?

yeah, we probably shouldn't assume lane will walk a full 2 miles with us(he did last over half of it). vance ended up doing double duty.

2 minutes from our house. amazing.

...and then we had an encounter with a rattlesnake. it wasn't too intimidating. actually, i saw a 'dead' snake on the ground and it was vance who said "rattle" and nope, it wasn't dead.

oh yeah, and lane had to wear a back pack since vance was with gage in it. that kid.



he dressed himeself. nebraska jersey, camo shorts, bike helmet, cow rain boots on the wrong feet, and a back pack. and yep, the back pack is one of those kid leash things. he wants to wear it all the time

another fun playdate with ben, sam, and amy. amy and i have our hands full; 4 boys, 2 mamas.

...in his undies. *update, potty training is going great! i would say he's 99.9% there (only wears a diaper at nap/night time). so very very proud of him!
everyday life.
lane is such a little dancer. if you have kids, you must go get the dvd go fish. he goes coo coo dancing with it. but on this night, he slowed things down a bit and took his mama's hand.

first time playing play dough. i was babysitting a friends daughter (who was 5) and thought lane was maybe old enough to get it out...maybe he was old enough not to eat it(?). she mixed all her colors up right away. lane made sure that none of his colors touched. so lane. (should we be surprised? thats so vance. and so very me.) and no, he never ate it.
sunday naps are the best.
