a ferry kind of christmas.

christmas in nebraska. no other place i'd rather be. this year we added three (almost 4) new people, what blessings!! it was a one crazy week...everyone got the flu. one by one (the reimer family had it a few days earlier) it took everyone down hard! but...we managed to make the most of it and enjoyed the chills, tummy aches, and uck together. i love our families and cherish ALL the moments we get to spend together. what more can i say?...lets just look at LOTS of pictures:)

gage(ten months).

i can't believe another month has past which means you are another month older.
the other day i was going through lane's old clothes and pulling out things that will fit you now. i'm totally amazed at how it seems like JUST yesterday lane was wearing that stuff.
it feels like we just putting it away. now you're wearing it...and before you know it, we'll be putting it away again.
life passes so quickly, you're growing up so fast!
:you watch your big brother so closely and know exactly how to drive cars around and around.
:you are this close to walking.
:your brother forces you to share YOUR toys with him. you are sweet enough to let him. someday he'll learn(to share) and i worry you'll (learn to) bite him (back).
there has been a lot of changes this month and lots more to come my sweet boy. you have my heart...and that will never ever change.
this past month you've been sick. we've made our first trip to the er and our first call to 911 as parents. i pray those are our last.
you've wanted nobody but me. you've eaten little and nursed a lot. a few weeks ago i was considering cutting out a feeding, not so much anymore. you haven't been yourself, i can hardly wait to see your contagious smile.
but for tonight, we'll keep you close in our arms, keep you comfortable, and keep on loving you.
happy ten months gagey. you're going to love birthday cake in just 7 short weeks!

*but do me a favor....slow down, 7 weeks is too soon to have a one year old! you're our baby.
