all very random.

i've had ZERO time to sit lately, so excuse my absence.   i'll also go ahead and say sorry b/c it'll probably be a while till next time.  wish i could update everyday, i'm always thinking of 'fun' posts but they never actually happen.  so, without further ado, here is a whole bunch of randomness from the past few weeks...

oh heavens, she's conquered the stairs.   in the past few days she has started how to back down them.   it's so cute, she turns her little booty around and makes it down.

new artwork that makes me a little less homesick.

grandma kay came last weekend to visit, SO great!!!   lane wrote her a sign & kept it in his window so she'd know what house was ours and that she could come in.   

my 30th birthday!   grandma watched ALL the kiddos while we went out.   what a birthday treat!!!   ...could have quite possibly been one of my best birthdays ever, SO many flowers from family & friends, dinner out with my main squeeze, bon fire with neighbors, and a few days later a birthday supper with friends from church.   i'm beyond blessed with so many great friends!

and i'm lucky to share the same birthday with sweet baby sarah.   jenni threw the absolute cutest birthday party EVER.  every little detail was perfect.   we had such a FUN time!!

how are you NINE MONTHS old?!  your father and i ask each other EVERY day, "when did she grow up so much? she's suppose to be our little baby."

you have mastered the stairs.   well, going UP the stairs.   (we're working on going down.)   they are a magnet to you, you can't leave them alone.

you also love the dishwasher.  you can hear that thing open up when your in the other room.

we decided to stop worrying about percentages b/c you are progressing just fine...you're just a petite thing!!   15lbs 11oz.  size 2 diaper.   6 months cloths.

the other day we were at the mall, we stopped in at stride rite to pick you up some shoes since you're cruisin all over the place.   your feet were too small for all the shoes, we'll stick with robeez...newborn size:)

NO teeth yet.   you drool ALL the time, i'm so sick of bibs!

you really are quite the chatter box.   da.da.da, ba.ba.ba, ma.ma.ma.

we must be use to your hair b/c we hardly notice it but seriously everyday someone says "whoa, look at that red hair!"

along with the red hair people always say, "look at those blue eyes!"   but sorry sweetheart, you're brothers stole the dark eyelashes.   you have long ones...they are just light red.

you get so excited when we come get you out of your bed.  your giggles & smiles are hands down some of the best moments in any given day.

you still are a mama's girl and won't let anyone else hold you.

your newest cousin was born yesterday, baby weston.   you are one day away from being 9 months apart.

you pull yourself up on everything and walk along it.   the wall?  sure, why not.   a cabinet?  of course. you just need a little bit of confidence that something will hold you up and you're good.

lane calls you little tornado & nutty.   he came up with those on his own.   its so sweet.   ...and you are a tornado, really, you are.

you nurse 7 times a day, eat baby food sometimes, and love feeding yourself snacks.

the other day we were talking how if we were to give you a little sister or brother being spaced out the same as you three kiddos, that would be getting pregnant in three months.   can we say a big fat NO...not yet!  (didn't i just have you?!)

oh but then i see little babies & have baby fever...even though you are still a baby.  not a newborn.   oh sigh.

i have started throwing around 1st birthday ideas in my head and get weepy thinking about it.   at a friends 1st bday party the other day i got choked up signing happy birthday & thinking about you.

in the car you strain your head around the whole time to try to see me.

you have so many bruises right now from falling.

you sure are a slice of sweetness.

no teeth, just gums. 

getting more hair:)
