october & november & some of this month.

yes, we're still here.
yes, i'm way behind on blogging.
because yes, we've been super busy.
the good sort of busy.
so here's some of the past few months.
:)

my friend stacey came over to make pumpkin rice crispy treats with all the kids.  she brought starbucks, gage was over the moon excited.

halloween!   lane was was excited she was a kitty.   he wants a cat.   thats never going to happen kid.   a friend let us borrow the costume, when i put it on logan he said, "oh, i've always wanted a cat.  thank you, thank you!"
case tractor, kitty, & a hamburger.

so gage.

theres my sweet boy!
logan & her bff bristol.

we did our annual trick or treating with our friends mike & amy and their boys.   somehow we missed a big group picture!   here they are afterwards going through their loot.
uh oh.
the barn dance at church.   always so fun!   a bit chilly this year but it was fun to bundle up in the snow:)

caught you logan.   reminds me so much of gage (scroll all the way to the bottom).

mess.
right before thanksgiving lane's class made "stone soup" (vegetable soup) for the parents & siblings.   when i got there, lane saw logan and wanted her sitting in HIS lap.   it was so sweet.   they sat together for a good five minutes while the teacher was reading a book.
giving her kisses.
soup!

she thought she was something else sitting there in a big kids chair.  (and her first and only time she's ever worn jeans, oops.)

gage worked in the kitchen the whole time we were there.
oh boys, boys, boys.   they always want to wear my robes.   is it too much to get a picture?!  i guess so.   vance laughed at this picture, he said, "this is going to be awesome when they are teenagers."
sweetness.

thanksgiving!
we spent thanksgiving in kansas this year and as always, it was great!   thanksgiving morning we went out for a little photo shoot.

i figured i might as well get her out of her pj's and into real clothes...she didn't like that idea.

eat up.
trampoline.   i wish our backyard had space for one!

meade always does a little chistmas gathering in the park with lights all over & santa handing out candy.   very "mayberry."  love it!

her first christmas tree sighting.

bentley was so sweet with her the entire weekend.

4 months apart.   love this picture.   people always say bentley looks like he could be one of our kids and they are right.  i've always wanted three boys:)
jedidiah & logan.   4 months apart.   can you guess which one is older?

lane wanted to be "compared" to someone.   he was pretty happy about being taller than uncle ryan.
he loves his grandma kay.
practicing walking.

hanging out.

family pics.   thanks andrea for snapping them!

the week following thanksgiving, vance had to work in omaha so we all went too.   somehow i didn't take hardly any pictures?!
of course, the boys had to drive their pick up everywhere.   loving it!

sweet penny!

early mornings outside with grandpa.

possibly one of my most favorite pictures.   ever.
"uhm, mom, get me out of here?"
"please?"
"nooooww!"
"eeeeek!"
"ahhh!"
her excited face:)  i can clearly remember the day when lane started doing his excited face, still makes me laugh.
the boys.  those boys.   they make my world go round.   look at them being brothers together.  talking and giggling about who knows what.   oh yeah, i know...they were throwing rocks, AT ME!
uh oh, mom sees me standing on the counter....
but my brothers think i'm funny up here:)
ok, i have more pictures but i'll stop for tonight, it's well past midnight :)

following Him.

this is on my heart this morning from my BSF notes...
Whenever God gives a command, He gives (and expects us to receive) an inward special strengthening grace. He gives us the desire, the will, and the power to renounce in obedience, as well as to receive His promises in obedience.

logan grace (11 months).

**whoops, never hit publish.   so here this is (mostly for my sake) a few weeks late**
you didn't want to cooperate at all & only wanted to look at your brother.   so i added him in this months pic too:)
11 months.   how is that possible?  tell me that!

logan gracie girl continues to be a complete and total doll.

this past month you've started dancing.

you wave hello & goodbye to everyone.

you're a total mama's girl.   always, always choosing me over anyone.   in fact, if you even see me you start crying to be held.

you have no interest on slowing down nursing...still 6 or 7 times a day.  and really, i'm in no hurry to be done, at all.

this past month you popped up a second bottom tooth & it appears as though your top teeth are trying to come.  OUCH!

you also had a double ear infection, giving you a fever over 104.   scares this mama!

you can pretty much stand as long as you want and are taking 3 or 4 steps on your own!!!

the other day you weighed 16 lbs, 6 oz.   i was hoping to have you in a big girl car seat by christmas, doesn't look like it!

11 months along and i still can't believe we have a baby girl, we love you sweetie.
