we had a very last minute valentine party for our preschooler friends :) of course i took zero pictures… but i did snap one of the take home snack.

& we did a heart craft at the party.  oh yeah, i made my children eat their treats outside.   i don't do sprinkles.

and this year the kids did salt dough heart ornaments.

our sweet, sweet gage.

from beginning to end & he sings the entire song at the top of his lungs.

pretty much the sweetest ever, i will never get sick of it.

for months lane has been praying for gage to pray & ask Jesus to ask Jesus to forgive his sins so they will both go to heaven someday.

so many days, mostly in the car on the way to school or when they are laying down, i hear lane telling gage, "to go to heaven you have to pray & ask Jesus into your heart and ask him to forgive your sins and then you live for Him."

then one night as gage was saying grace at the dinner table, he ended his prayer…

"and live in my heart and please forgive my sins so i can live in heaven with you."  

he opened up his bright eyes, "Jesus forgave my sins!"

and thats just how it is.

the Holy Spirit has been at work in his tender little heart and he was ready, all on his own.

we want the boys to always know that no matter what God loves them & they heard from Him at a very early age.

the work of God in their lives started young.   

what a glorious blessing.   

while we were sitting around eating supper, after he prayed, vance said, "there are angels having a party for you right now up in heaven because they are so excited that you ask Jesus into your heart."

his little face lit up, "for me?! they don't even know me!  i'm going to give them a big tight squeeze hug when i get to heaven."
