kansas + lan'e's birthday.

back in the middle of may we traveled to kansas for cousin blake's graduation.   unfortunately i didn't take hardly any pictures.   carrying a big camera + four kids is exceptionally hard.   so, here are a few...

 SEVEN! May 16th!

 grandma kay planned a party for lane & did a seriously awesome job.   completely makes me smile!!

...we can hardly wait to go back soon for harvest.  hopefully lots of pics will be taken :)

bowling birthday party.

for lane's birthday he requested bowling with some buddies at bass pro shop in colorado springs.   perfect!  so easy & so fun.   

whenever it was logan's turn, all the boys rushed up beside her to help ;)

 prior to going the boys decorated disposable cups for all of them.  (i knew they didn't have lids on any cups & between 7 kids there was bound to be spills.   this worked perfectly!)

 they all said, "this is the best cheese pizza EVER!"

 and for dessert lane said he wanted, "jesus cake"  hmmm..."you mean, angel food cake?"  yep!  so we brought angel food cake, strawberries, & whip cream.   they loved the spray whip cream part.

 the boys really wanted it to be a boys only trip but sorry, they are your sisters...they are coming.  :)

 cannot believe he is SEVEN!
