a year ago today we got our first glimpse of baby lane. we were (and still are) so proud of our little beating dot.

this is what happens when lane poops, pees, and spits up on both himself and mom within 2 minutes. we get in the shower!

labor day in kansas.

we spent labor day weekend in kansas with family. vance enjoyed hauling some bales and working outside. he says he doesn't feel like he really works unless he sweats. good thing it was hot. enjoyed watching the nebraska game at great grandparents house with everyone and went on a few late night country walks. of course, we also made the stop at pizza hut. yum! lane loved being with grandpa and grandma reimer and even more with uncle ryan. such a good weekend.

one year ago today we found out we were pregnant. amazing how life can change in one day.
