-finally got to the dentist. after i had lane i had EIGHT cavaties, yes eight! i had some work done but still have more to do over thanksgiving. they were afraid to do to much while i'm pregnant so we'll just do a little at a time. ready.to.be.done!
-went shopping. lane HATES shopping so we tag teamed him/it. he still outran us at american eagle. he was crazy:)
-lane had his first act of stealing. somehow a single kids nike shox tennis shoe ended up in the diaper bag. i figured lane was a little young to be taught a true lesson on stealing so i just went back to the store and apologized. if i was smart, i would have had him go "steal" the other one...just kidding!
-went out to eat with friends.
-played board games till the wee hours of the morning with renee. guess who and sweet valley high. for snacks, she had string cheese and i had a root beer float. total opposites.
-lane impressed grandpa and grandma with his "talking" skills. ALWAYS babbling! he started saying "bam-pa" when he saw grandpa or was looking for him.
-renee and i got ALL of our continuing education hours!
-missed vance!!!
-flew by myself with lane for the 20th(?) time and decided it will be the last time while pregnant. then i was quickly reminded that if i do that then i'll have TWO kids so i guess i'll be flying with just him again. OR family can come here! (hint, hint!)
good times at grandpa and grandma's!
this picture would be adorable if his eyes were open but i LOVE this picture because it shows off his long lashes. melts my heart!
wagon rides.
he wanted it to be sammie's turn.
we somehow pulled grandpa away from the second half of the nebraska game and headed to the pumpkin patch. it was a beautiful day and we didn't have to fight any crowds since the game was still going on. we all had a good time! lane's grown a lot since last year.
after we had him stand against the cut out to see how tall he was this year, any cut out he saw after that he ran and stood right against it:)
american boy.
if grandma is near, she is ALL he wants.
lane's most favorite part of the pumpkin patch...pony rides!
lane kept up with all of us, handfuls of kettle corn. yum yum yum!
apple sling shot
too bad nebraska lost:(
these pictures make me so happy...he discovered the piano and LOVED it!
lane entertained us with wearing this one evening, making "roaring" sounds. there is never a dull moment with this guy.
we were so excited to get back to see vance but we unaware of what we were getting ourselves into. cold. snow. brr. we landed, opened up the suitcases, and pulled out some of the winter clothes we picked up in omaha. i've been dreading winter for a long time, everyday lane spends a good 2 hours outside playing, what are we going to do in the cold weather? we've been getting a taste of it the last few days and we're anxiously awaiting some warmer days again! i guess we'll just bundle up, head outside, and girn and bear it:)

you for sure should have had lane go 'play' with the other tennis shoe. HAHA! and snow?! i heard :( bummer. you're gonna have to pick up some baby snow pants.
We were sitting by those big windows at church having our yummy cinnamon bagels and I said to Shelby, "There comes a little boy that looks like lane." He was walking between your parents holding their hand and looking down. I took a second look and it was 'baby lane.' What a fun surprise.
