harvest twenty-ten.

well, another year of harvest(click here and here to see previous years) and another year of (hundreds) pictures to go through. i say this every time but i mean it every time...SO.MUCH.FUN! busy, but fun! we all have a "job" while being there...driving combine, driving truck, meals on wheels, photography, and the kids (those age 2&under) have been elected to the entertainment team. did i say it was a good time? because it was. here is my attempt to capture some of the week. there are TONS of pictures, this is the shortened list of the short list.

fathers day. we attempted to get a good picture of us since we not on purpose all dressed the same. yeah, that didn't go so well. mosquitos were everywhere...

and lane wanted to be in the picture by himself.

so we tried again and it still didn't work, ooh well.

hanging out at grandpa dave's and grandma kay's house. or as we tell lane, the grandpa with the cows.

gage spent 99% of the week in grandma's arms. he loved it and i think its safe to say, she did too.

the annual harvest tee. thanks to andrea and 'the company.'

gage and brooke laughing it up.

britney driving truck...

on the tractor with blake. since we've been home whenever lane plays with his tractors, which is all day, he always says "blake" and points to the inside of the cab. lane thinks he's way cool. and in these pics you can see the t-shirt blake made for lane. lane calls it his blake shirt.

out on the field.

b & l.

not so sure flip flops ("whops" as lane calls them) are really the shoe for out in the field.

farm boy.

great grandpa henry and gage.

a gorgeous evening out cutting (or to take pictures)

and vance swung around in the combine to pick us up:)

profiles

around grandpa and grandma's...

grandma and aunt grandma kathy enjoying their morning coffee. probably watching rabbits:)

lane had control of the stinger.

whenever we drive to and from kansas we always see a sign that says "monument rock" and we always say we should stop there. this time, we did. it didn't even feel like we were in kansas. huge rocks out on an open range.

as soon as we got out of the car lane started running and climbing. such a boy. can you spot tiny him running along the rocks?

birds, too many birds.

yours truly.

and gage slept through the whole thing. he didn't even know we stopped.

and that folks is it, who's up for harvest 2011?
