his never ending pursuit of the cupcakes on top of the kitchen table.
zoe & max brought him a balloon. he has loved it! i totally forgot about getting balloons for his birthday, aren't i thoughtful? oops.
and all the babies loved it too.
grandma gwen knew exactly what to get him, puppy dog book.
he loooves puppy dogs.

and a new tent and tunnel, from grandpa&grandma reimer, that lane thinks is all his.
the boys had christmas money burning a whole in their pockets so they got a slide. it was a wee bit too windy that day to have it out back so inside the house it came. it was the hit of the party.
cake time! (he looks so sleepy in all these pics. and he had a black eye for his party:)
the sugar is wearing off.
both of our boys (here is lane) on their (actual) first birthdays fell asleep before we could get them to their beds. they sure know how to melt their mama's heart.
