lately/memories.

a few weeks back we headed down to colorado springs for their annual balloon festival. the boys were in sensory overload...way cool. *a family memory i don't want to forget, vance and i were looking at the garmin on which road to turn down, i said "lincoln road" lane said "no, hot air ballon road." *i need to write down more memories/sayings, somewhere, someplace.

i love it when vance steals my camera and snaps pictures. *memory for me: the boys decided this would be a good place to eat cantelope. they were SO cute sitting on the scooter sharing fruit with each other.

the new yogurt shop in town. *after taking FOREVER to get through the line, decide which kind of yogurt to get, lane drops it on the ground and throws a fit b/c he wants his gummy sharks that he put on top. after eating what was left, vance and i ask each other how much it was only to find that neither of us had paid. they had noticed the craziness with our kids and decided to give it to us for free before we even noticed. uhm, awesome or a gentle way of saying "get your kids under control"?
story time. lane insists on sitting ON TOP of me. SO shy!
gage on the other hand loves to take part in story time. castle rock has the best story time ever, seriously, i'm always impressed. *the boys love the "bear song"
park time with good friends. *this is the first time i hear gage say the word "hello" clearly.
gage eating oreo dessert. *lane helped me make this, ya know, the boxed treat at the grocery store. he was SO excited about it when he saw it and had to get it. he was just as excited to help make it and even more happy to eat it:)

my toes at starting to disappear. (and obviously need a pedicure too...)
lane helping himself. *he got out my favorite quilty pleasure this pregnancy and said, "mama, my share some of this with you?" gee, thanks buddy, thats nice of you to share MY drink with me.
all week i've been looking for the tape. i spotted it today...do you see it?! such a logical place for it to be!
