oops.

seriously, i didnt mean take that long of a blogging break.  in fact, i didn't mean to take a break at all.   oops.   life has been busy and tiring, really tiring, never before have i been so consistently tired.   a while i was talking with a mom who's kids are grown & she was saying how she'd love to go back to the days when her kids were little and NOT be tired.   when she was saying it i originally thought that it really wasn't too big of a deal but now, man oh man, i get it.  three (little!) kids makes for one tired mama!   to say the least life is busy, crazy, and so great.   take a peek at our days...

happy 7 years of wedded bliss to us.   we got to sneak out for a date without the boys thanks to our dear friend stacey, what a treat!!!   i requested ice cream b/c if the boys weren't with us than i wouldn't have to share it with anyone, it was gooooood!

logan tagged along but slept most of the time, she was totally confused when she woke up.

lane had been really wanting to take the fireman cookies, so we finally did it.   an added bonus, they gave the boys their own personal tours.

i really shouldn't post this picture of me but it just shows how precious lane is.   a few weekend back i woke up feeling pretty awful. (turns out it was my first case of strep throat at age 29, totally not fun!!!)   anyways, sweet lane laid on the couch with me holding me close all morning.   that boy & i have a special bond i tell ya.   initially when i woke up & vance said that mama wasn't feeling good he started to cry and asked if i was having a gallbladder attack, melt my heart.

dana & i decided somewhat last minuted to drive to omaha through the night...with ALL our kids.  thats FIVE kids 3 & under with 2 mommy's.   and actually it went great, night driving was the way to go.   we were greeted by cute penny.
