logan grace(8 months).

my darling baby girl.   you are 8 months.   (when i first typed that i typed, 2 months, that seems about how old you should be.)

you wave hi and bye.

you just started clapping your hands.

you kicked the inch worm crawling and are now a pro crawler.

all you want to do is STAND.   crawling is just a means to get to whatever you can pull yourself up on, the toy chest, couch, chairs, just to name a few.

you reach for me when you need me or want me, which is all the time b/c you still are only happy in mama's arms.

you crawl across the room and pull yourself up on my leg to be picked up.

you aren't a huge baby food eater, but thats only because i'm not the best at actually feeding you.   you LOVE waffles, blueberries, and bananas.

you make the cutest raspiest little ba-ba-ba, da-da-da sounds.

you have to be right in the middle of whatever your brothers are doing.

standing means falling.   you have many bruises on your little noggin.

the past couple days you have even been daring enough to let go of whatever you're holding onto and squeal as if saying, "no hands mama!"

but can you do me a giant favor?   stop wanting to walk.   i need another 6 months before that.

it cracks me up every time i walk into your room when you wake up & see you standing in your bed.

today you weighed 15lbs 7oz, still wearing a size 2 diaper, wearing mostly 6 month clothing and some 3 month stuff.

you LOVE playing peek-a-boo.

just recently i graduated you out of the baby bath tub which in turn...you discovered splashing.

where are your teeth?  you don't have any & i see no signs of them coming besides the extreme amount of drool.

your tongue, oh the tongue.   you are always sticking it out, you have since the very very second you were born.    in fact, in your ultrasound pictures you had it out too:)

pulling hair is your specialty.

we still call you logan, logan grace, logan gracie, pickle-sweet-pickle, peanut, cheenut, sweetie, girly girl.

you sleep 10-12 hours at night with two solid naps a day.   most of the time i can't complain.

lately you've decided you don't want to nap in your car seat.   bummer.
