hi grandparents. pretty sure you guys are the only one still checking our blog since its been FOREVER since the last update. way back before christmas we traveled to nebraska, then from there went to kansas, and then came home with a serious flu bug. needless to say...no luggage has been unpacked, christmas gifts are still strewn about the house, and christmas decor is still up. our house has never been in such disarray. sooo, the blog has been left unattended once again. here's a glimpse into our everyday via my cell phone. (and yes, lots of logan pics...she's just so easy to take pics of! :))

dec 20, 2012...a year ago from that day i was in labor with her.

christmas cookies. i let lane choose the frosting colors. we like our cookies soft with a glaze frosting. we call them nordstrom cookies, and maybe i should be embarrassed that we know what kind of cookies nordstroms has. but, they are just like this and SO good.

lane got a stuffed animal & book from his teacher for christmas. she called me later on in the day & said she had an extra gift and wondered if she could drop it off to gage. he was SOOOO excited. we love ms chris!
on her birthday she learned how to SPLASH!

one afternoon us MOMS left all the kids at home with the daddy's and went shopping and out to eat. what a TREAT!!! such a cherished time to be with mom & my sisters:)
also, vance & i went on a drive thru date to get coffee. it was a glorious 10 minutes not having crying kids in the back:)
at a reststop between nebraska & kansas an older couple came up to the boys, gave them money & told them to pick out a treat for the car ride. SO nice! in true lane & gage fashion, they picked out tic tacs. (or tic tocs as they call them) ...oh yeah, he decorated his car seat with every sticker he could find.

we thought we'd let her sit forward facing in gage's car seat for a short little car ride, she HATED it!!

on new years eve we woke up to SNOW! ryan & heather took the boys out to feed cattle, it was pretty cute!

this past summer i fell in love with grandma reimer's baby bassinet. vance's parents gave it to us as a gift, what a treasure!!! and that amazing quilt right next to it too, love it!!!

lane got a wallet for christmas, one of the first things he did when we got home was put this picture of britney in it :)
and then the flu hit....
we make them sleep in our bedroom when they're sick. uck!
