last wednesday was my dad's 60th birthday. my mom was throwing a surprise birthday party for him and us sisters figured what better surprise than us all being there. so, since it was in the middle of the week i (dana had quick travels too!) left denver wednesday afternoon & was back home by 6:45am thursday morning. yeah, 12 hours at home, it was such a tease. it was wonderful. i'm going to quote joe darago's status on facebook the day after his party. "There are moments in life that are so special you wish you could relive them. Last night was one of those for Christie and I! May God grant you many more bdays JN and thanks Gwen for thinking of us." it really was one of those evenings that it just feels right, i only slept one hour but i'd gladly do it all over again. so thankful that we were all able to be there. happy birthday daddy-o!
