me telling lane, "i think you should really try to take a nap so tonight at awana you can pay attention really good & have so much energy at game time." …. "oh mom, you don't need to worry about that. i always have energy."
he knows all his continents & oceans. and often surprises us by knowing many different countries on a globe. he always tells gage, "you're going to grow up & be a missionary in africa."
"i only eat veggies and fruits. and some meat. and only water to drink." he is VERY health conscious. very.
he wants to do track so bad this summer. he must have overheard us talking about how expensive it is & on his own came up to me and said, "mom, i can help pay for some of track this summer."
going back to the track. the boy runs ALL the TIME!! and is FAST! aunt renee taught him the term, schooled. nearly every day he says, "i schooled you mom!"
he loves all things "indy cars"
today at the grocery store he saw a girl from his class & whispered to me, "isn't she beautiful mom?"
at school he has a harder time reading & is in advanced math. just like his daddy at his age.
sitting in the back of the car helping me hand logan & gage things he says, "mom, now i know how you feel. i can't get anything done for myself!"
the other day when he got upset about something he claimed he was going to run away to grandma kay's house and i wasn't invited.
he can't wait to be in 1st grade. every morning he asks, "how many days till first grade."
he has memorized and finished his sparks book 2 times now, 35 verses + new testament books of the bible. not including ones he has memorized for sunday school. he says his favorite is romans 3:23 "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
favorite colors is still light blue & orange.
he is almost as tall as my shoulder.
