what we've been up to.

last thursday vance had surgery on his acl. not super fun, nope not fun at all. we're thankful for a successful surgery, despite it taking 5 hours(it was only suppose to be 2-3 hours). such a loooong 5 hours, the only person i wanted to talk to was vance. i don't know how many times i picked up my phone and hit speed dial 1 only to remember he won't answer. so hard. but, in the grand scheme of life, this is just one of those little bumps, you can make a full recovery from this, there are so many other scary things out there. we've had quite the ups and downs the past couple days but mostly things have looked like this...

and still sleeping, thanks to some heavy duty pain meds. note, the gatorade bottle, throw up bowl, and ice cooler for his knee.

hoping to be back with new posts soon. but for some reason or another, i'm just as tired vance:)

the boys had christmas money burning a whole in their pockets so they got a slide. it was a wee bit too windy that day to have it out back so inside the house it came. it was the hit of the party.

both of our boys (here is lane) on their (actual) first birthdays fell asleep before we could get them to their beds. they sure know how to melt their mama's heart.

this seems like SO long ago. i'm way behind on this whole blogging thing. we've been busy, busy with the every days. a few weeks ago, after our omaha trip, we stopped in broken bow for vance's grandma's 90th birthday. as always, lots of pictures.
