christmas continued.

christmas in kansas! we did it, we went to both nebraska and kansas for christmas. for a grand total of 35 hours of driving time! or over $300 in gas! but we wouldn't trade any of it, it's so important for lane to know both of his grandpa and grandma's homes, to know HIS family. we had a great time in kansas. this sounds so dorky of me but i always think that i'll catch up on my sleep while we are there b/c we are in a small town, on a farm, but nope, TOO MUCH FUN! too much of a good thing is a good thing...including family, veranika, the smell of vance's parents home, laughter, sweet tea, cousins, football on tv (ok, maybe not so much for me), checking cattle, open views, dirt roads, moving cattle, (great)grandpa praying, singing carols, pizza hut, staying up till 3am, singing happy birthday, basketball...shall i keep going?

christmas with all the reimers. always plan to wear a tshirt for opening gifts....waaarm in there!
checking cattle. lane LOVED it! 1. no car seat 2. cows come right up to the pick-up 3. grandpa let him honk the horn
vance said this little toddler cow was lane as a cow. totally true. serious but has a spunk about him.
the big 3-0!! and game day.

a daily occurance, helping grandma bake bread.
