it's been a while since everyday photos were posted. maybe its because we're finally home to have everyday pictures. things are slowly being checked off lists yet somehow they keep getting longer. we don't mean to but we constantly talk about how we need to get 'this' and 'this' done before baby comes. it's as if we're not going to be able to do anything once baby is here, and maybe we won't. (?!) my perfectionist ways are coming out with the whole nesting part of pregnancy: clean along all baseboards, dust all wood blinds, wash/iron place mats...just to name a few. i've gone crazy. and did i mention the everyday things are pushed back ALL the time because i'm just too tired. need to sleep. lane's nap time has quickly become my nap time, some days there isn't much(or any) motivation. maybe that's why its taken me two weeks to get this post on here!
new baby got a christmas present: video monitor. we decided to test it out on lane. totally love it! who knew he just played quietly in his room nearly every night for almost an hour?! we always thought we was asleep. ha.

bath time is daddy and lane time. by the end of the day i often need some time off, vance is such a good dad (and husband) to give me that! i snuck in a few weeks back and caught some cute moments.
wearing mama's boots.
our new past time. instant happiness for lane. he knows the rules, no touching or tasting, till mama says ok.
...excuse the awesome outfit. too short of pants with his most favorite shoes, from his buddy sam, that are too big to wear outside so he wears them ALL THE TIME inside. (even with his pjs)
is this how i stand while i eat cookie dough? guess so:)
lane LOVES the vacuum. we'd do it everyday, two times a day, if he had his way. although his play vac comes in at a close second. it's hard to tell in this picture but he got creative with a flashlight and placed it on top so it would have a light like a real one.

and the video monitor is so cool! and how cute that lane just plays until he is tired :)
celine, he is just too cute for words. such a big boy! i love that bath time is daddy time...kev does bath time with kaden and kyri too. precious moments.
one more thing...i came back to relook at the pictures :) lanes cookie baking outfit is so classic 'here is a cute picture for my sr. video---but what in the world am i wearing? oh well, it must have been the style'
