seriously, the kid likes to hang upside down.
venturing out for another evening little hike. my new most favorite family time.
yeah, we probably shouldn't assume lane will walk a full 2 miles with us(he did last over half of it). vance ended up doing double duty.
the boys were having so much fun together. they were in their own little laughing world.
i took the lighter of the two kids.
2 minutes from our house. amazing.
...and then we had an encounter with a rattlesnake. it wasn't too intimidating. actually, i saw a 'dead' snake on the ground and it was vance who said "rattle" and nope, it wasn't dead.
oh yeah, and lane had to wear a back pack since vance was with gage in it. that kid.
he dressed himeself. nebraska jersey, camo shorts, bike helmet, cow rain boots on the wrong feet, and a back pack. and yep, the back pack is one of those kid leash things. he wants to wear it all the time
another fun playdate with ben, sam, and amy. amy and i have our hands full; 4 boys, 2 mamas.

of course, lane wanted a turn in the circus. awkward.

of course, lane wanted a turn in the circus. awkward....in his undies. *update, potty training is going great! i would say he's 99.9% there (only wears a diaper at nap/night time). so very very proud of him!
everyday life.
lane is such a little dancer. if you have kids, you must go get the dvd go fish. he goes coo coo dancing with it. but on this night, he slowed things down a bit and took his mama's hand.
sleepy lunch.
and at my feet during lunch time.
oh how i love them.
first time playing play dough. i was babysitting a friends daughter (who was 5) and thought lane was maybe old enough to get it out...maybe he was old enough not to eat it(?). she mixed all her colors up right away. lane made sure that none of his colors touched. so lane. (should we be surprised? thats so vance. and so very me.) and no, he never ate it.
sunday naps are the best.

doesn't it seem like he just fit on these stairs? getting so big.
the bouncer never rests.
big brothers sleeping...he gets his hands on his toys.
and of course, keeping it real.

I cannot wait to meet you and watch you capture my Brandon like you do with your boys! I tried to tell Dana that she needed to fly in to Colorado and hang with us Sunday afternoon while we are taking pictures. Maybe?? Love your posts and pictures, as always!
