grandma reimer.

this past weekend we all, the whole reimer family, gathered to one of our favorite places...grandma and grandpa's house. except grandma wasn't there this time. we were all there to honor the amazing legacy she left. she will be missed.

a few pictures with grandma reimer: in no particular order.
june 09
typical christmas in the living room.
new years 2009. she hated this picture but its so cute. 91 and staying up partying till midnight.
november 2008.
with 'aunt grandma' kathy this past summer.
june 2010. working hard in the kitchen.
august 2008.
with gage. june 2010.
with lane. june 2008.
first time meeting gage. april 2010.
...one of my favorite memories of grandma reimer is her calling me after gage was born. "you are all i have thought about lately. i remember how it goes with a newborn in the house"
...also, one evening while we were in meade, after gage was born, she could hardly wait to see her great grandbabies. she came over to dave&kay's house and watched vance give them baths. then asked me all about gage's birth. just a good memory.

april 2010. letting lane taste test the sweet tea.
...there are so many more memories to share. she was just genuine love and i'm grateful that i got to call her grandma.

i didn't take too many pictures this past weekend. guess i just wasn't in the mood. here are the few that were snapped...
sleeping on grandma.
grandma and grandpa's house. truck ball anyone?
we also got to sneak away to see the awesome school play britney was in. so fun seeing/hearing her sing!

(heather and brooke. where were you when we took this picture?)
gage crashed on uncle ryan.
oh muddy muddy car. and the inside was(still is) just a dirty from the drive with fruit snacks, french fries, and toys.

i think this makes my cry more than i did all weekend! the picture when she is holding lane in '08--i feel like he looks like bentley! and that is what makes me sad...she never got to hold my baby. i'm just glad for the assurance of salvation & that soon enough she will meet all of our babies!
