brand new.

following logan's birth we had (for one reason or another) an extended stay at the hospital. which actually turned out to be exactly what we, ok I, needed...staying there MADE me sit (which, if you know me, is hard for me to do) and do nothing but stare at our sweet little girl. so...here's a WHOLE bunch pictures from the hospital of the little bundle thats slowly turning our world pink.

brand new, an hour or so old.

this is how we spent the first day. best ever. we couldn't stop smiling.

meeting her big brothers for the first time. they had NO idea that we had, had her earlier that day. they thought i had just gone to the dr. when lane came up to the hospital he said, "sooo, thats what you were doing all day." yep, sweet boy, thats what mama was doing today...giving you a little sister:)

(like the marks from my shirt on her face? oops.)
i LOVE this one!!

family of FIVE.
gage wanted his turn in the bassinet.
9 hours old.

girly hospital hats. way cute!
24 hours old.

hearing test.
lunch with the family.

first holding. they love her, like really really love her. melt my heart!

grandpa & grandma...their 6th grandbaby in 3 years.
probably one of the sweetest memories of the hospital stay was a group of carolers came around door to door singing. gage was so precious watching them. there wasn't a dry eye in our room.
2 days old.
the day following her birth denver was slammed with the biggest snow storm yet this year. it was nice to stay cozy inside and watch it whirl out there holding a new baby.

aunt dana made a special trip down to meet her new niece.
sister time...watching videos of each others kids on our phones.
getting ready to go home...

SO HAPPY TO BE HOME!!!

they had to help daddy carry her in.

shortly after arriving home renee & penny came.
all the girls minus addie.

looking back at all those pictures, she's already changed so much! 10 days old and we can't imagine life without her.
