this&that.

i'm going to try to not leave the blog quiet for too long...you might be thinking baby is here. or maybe not because like me, you don't realize just how close baby is to actually coming. we're down to single digits here people. oh my! this has been the absolute LONGEST and absolute FASTEST pregnancy ever. not sure how that works, but it has been BOTH.

here's some new pics in the meantime...

thats our gagers! hat, backpack, pj's...ready to go outside. and yes, his eyes are crossed. the bill on the hat was quite intriguing to him.

lunch time.

and this is what happens when you let your one year old shake their own parmesan cheese on their noodles. whoops.
lane requested i take of picture of him and daddy. so i did.
instead of an advent calendar we have a december activity jar going. if the day goes alright, they get to draw a fun activity out of it. (that makes us sound so mean, "if that day goes alright..." but lets me honest, some days/evening aren't super smooth.) one night was "take a bath in candlelight." (i know i know, thats not a very christmasy activity...) they LOVED it. the highlight for them for quite possibly blowing out all the candles after their baths. its the little things...they had fun...and we had spilled wax all over our bathroom.

oh how we adore sunday afternoon naps.
another december activity...candy cane cookies. (or stripy cookies as lane calls them.) i let lane pick out the food coloring colors, we got some pretty funky looking cookies...yellow, green, blue, red... :) the mccoy kiddos came over one morning. they all enjoyed an early morning cookie in front of the tv. too cute. (and yep, my kids are the ones still in their pjs, getting dressed is overrated.)
the boys think the tree skirt is for driving cars on. they make roads out of anything.
another december activity...just for lane. frosting sugar cookies. his absolute favorite. he thought this was extra special that it was JUST him, he hammed it up for the camera!

hoping to be back soon...showing you a new picture of a baby. if not, i'm sure the boys will be doing something to make us smile:)
