we've been itching to go home for quite sometime...kansas over easter & nebraska in a few weeks. what a treat it was for us to spend such a huge holiday (it IS the center of christianity, Jesus dying on the cross and rising again!) with family...and add to that, a family that loves the Lord. for weeks we've been singing, "Christ the Lord is risen today" and the boys would sing back, "aaaaleluia." what fun it is to teach your children about what easter means and see them understand it! (although gage has been saying "candy" nonstop recently). once again, tons of pictures from our short little visit in kansas...
first things first, the morning after we got there cattle needed to be moved. vance was so excited! and i pretended to be "the pioneer woman".

we had a delicious Easter meal the evening before and so after church we headed for a picnic at the park. it was so fun, i'd actually love to make it a tradition...of course, in colorado there is normally a spring snowstorm.

lane living it up...playing & eating a cupcake at the same time.
