the olympics start tonight.   woohoo, who else is beyond excited!?   

and speaking of london, a childhood friend is having an amazing experience there.   check out her blog, i'm living vicariously through her.      

today the boys and i have been listening and singing this song (and the whole cd) loud and on repeat.   thank you God for your beautiful creation!

dear friends, stop pinning unrealistic goals for our bodies on pinterest.   after a talk with a dear friend earlier today, i completely agree that really, its unnecessary and not uplifting to think we need to achieve these perfect bodies.   and she said it best, "those ladies on there must not have any babies anyways!"

favorite lane quote of the week... in response to logan being extremely fussy, "mom, whenever you want to put logan to bed is fine with me."

i've randomly been getting excited for fall.   someone needs to shake some sense into me, no no!!

i have 2 specific prayers that i have been praying nonstop this week, i'm anxious to see how & when God works.   and i have faith he will.

have i mentioned my sister dana is having a baby boy soon?!   can't wait!!

after being gone so much this summer, we've only been home for a total time less than 4 weeks, i have the itch to keep going.   who wants to go on a road trip to mount rushmore?   i'm serious.   

tonight for supper we are having this. 

i'm proud to say, i don't remember the last time i've been to starbucks.   happy, sad, & all the above.

monday evenings are spent at vance's softball games.   the boys have so much fun!   this night we thought it would start raining & games would be canceled, nope just dark sky's.
