the reimers: part 1.

so i really have no idea how many parts there are going to be...A LOT! where do i begin? lets see...ok, at the beginning of may vance was told he had to work in omaha for SIX weeks!!! it made zero sense for him to be there (staying with my parents) and the kids & i to be here in colorado. so, we called my parents and said we're moving in for a month & a half. we were greeted with open arms:) vance and i have said so many time how thankful we are that his time working away from home was in omaha, where it would work out for us to all be together. what a GREAT time we ALL had. we cherished living everyday life with my parents, renee, tom, and penny. typically our visits are a rushed weekend here and there so having a long stay was just awesome! and did i mention, dana & the twins were there for over a week too?! even more awesome! ok...onto some pics...

my lifelong friend (we met on the first day of preschool) molly & i often text about how wanting to see each others kids. it finally worked out! the hours we spent playing with baby dolls is now real, we've got our own real life little dollies.

my parents celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary this june...we caught them off guard and threw a surprise party honoring them. it was such a fun evening!!

somewhere around this time we missed a whole 2 weeks of our time there...we got SICK! it was pretty much miserable. ear infections, coughs, fevers, strep, tonsillitis, thrush, tears...all 5 reimers were down & out! it totally stunk being sick away from home but we were so thankful to have the help. mom and renee staying up many a nights with loving on logan so we could sleep, there are countless ways they helped!
