brand new allie in the hospital. we were only there for a quick day. short & sweet.
a few things i don't want to forget:
-that we knew a nurse on every shift
-the shower after allie was born & how it was the best ever
-seriously good hospital food
-that our friends christy & todd took lane to school in the morning. when vance called to go pick him up only a few hours after being there, as soon as vance said his name, the secretary asked, "did she have the baby?"
-lane saw the dean to his school in the hospital lobby
-the awesome hospital staff gave the kids popsicles & the cutest "big brother/big sister" hospital bracelets
-mom & dad brought smart cow up to the hospital. white chocolate mousse & cookie dough. yummy!
-the kids playing with their hospital gifts from us
-the freidman family coming to visit
-jen bringing coffee & goodies up in the wee morning hours
-vance pulling the emergency cord
-the beautiful mountain view
-that we stayed in the same room she was delivered in
inspecting their little sister under the warming lights (trying to get her body temp up)

i was taking vance's picture when some lady walking by said, "oh let me take a picture with you in it. is she your first?"
"MY baby!!!!"
