checking in.

like any other little boy, lane is OBSESSED with trucks, tractors, cars, basically anything with wheels. nearly everyday we are outside when the mail comes and of course, lane has taken high interest in his truck. one day this was in our mailbox, how nice is our mailman?

a few days ago we had to be somewhere but lane was still napping. rarely do we get pictures of him sleeping (dont mess with nap time) so i jumped at the chance. (little did we know what this week would bring...end of this post, lots of sleepy pics)



its my favorite time of year again...eating outside!!


unfortunately it snowed 18 inches the next day. dumb, dumb, dumb.

gage, we're really falling for that guy. he is such a good baby. love him.

he's turning into such a smiling baby. just looking at him he starts to smile all over.

if i don't have the camera right in their faces, then it's the camera phone...sometimes both.

gage is really learning he has HANDS! if he's awake, they are always, always in his mouth.

mr ma-goo. see the egg/dent on this forehead? he hit is way back in february. the dr said he probably dented the bone. lovely.



poor lane has been sick, sick, sick this week. it has been no, no, no fun. all he's wanted to do is sleep!! it's been almost comical at the places/positions he's fallen asleep. a few i've missed taking pics; sleeping on the step stool, at the doctor's office, in the car seat, high chair, leaning over in the bath tub.
