cutest visitors ever.

after thanksgiving we had three of the most anticipated visitors come stay at our house for a few days. ooooh my, the twins are so cute. every inch of them, pure baby lovin. the house was a little wacky for a few days, the first night there wasn't ten minutes without one of the three babies waking up. dana and i were exhausted but what a joy to share our everyday mommy moments with each other. the other day i read a quote from this book.

Thank you, Holy Spirit, for the breath and life of my kids. Flesh of my flesh,
bone of my bone, heart of my heart. Somehow, the more I love from a reservoir I never knew I had, the greater my capacity to hold even more...to hold even closer.
Each child is nuzzled up within my soul, and I will nestle in theirs
as they cuddle my grandchildren. With them I pray severely, hurt profoundly,
love sprawlingly, and exhale thanks with every waking breath. My days are filled out pouring out my life for them.

my heart (and i know its dana's too) exactly. everything that was once important takes second seat to our four babies. our days revolve around loving them; in the diapers, crying, whining, & kisses...and that is awesome. and what a joy it is to (very soon) share this with renee too! life is good.

and onto the pictures...
when they first got to our house they were in awe of lane and his big boy toys.

we obviously only have one high chair so feedings went in shifts.

sharing a bedtime snack of cereal with "aunt daaana"
little miss addie wanted to stay up and party with the girls.
baby, baby, baby.
we introduced them to the world of mum mums.

dana could totally do triplets.
playing.

we did leave the house once in the four days they were here. we went to target. aren't we a bundle of fun?! in colorado we've had unseasonably warm weather. one afternoon we had a little picnic outback.

(i was snapping away, taking pictures, so lane had to have his camera and capture the memories too)

sorry addie, we only have boy hats to offer at our house.

owen, bluest eyes ever.

love gage's little profile in this one...
owen and gage...why do your ears keep popping out of your hat? don't you have grandma that makes hats?

sweetness.

sorry addie, we put you down for a nap...on the bathroom floor. (hey, it was quiet)
mr o. cutest little character there is.

bathtub full of babies.

they're all having a little conversation here. "ooo, that bath soap smells yummy" "gage, stop splashing me" "hey, you have shampoo on your head too"

what fun it was to have them here. can hardly wait till christmas...and you can bet, matching pj pictures will be coming!

It is so awesome as a mother to watch your daughters with their babies. The Lord has blessed our family so much. Looks like you girls had a fun time with your babies and together. Your pictures show each one's personality--so fun. Christmas is coming soon--together again.

WOW what a time in Castle Rock town. Your mother and I are green with envy that we were not there, however, looks like major buddy bonding going on, and it must be so special and especially sweet to spend time with your sister, and these beautiful children. Just think how it will be when Renee gets added to the mix. That is something to look forward to.

General comments to the photos and the people in them;

1. last picture, a mixture of expressions, Gage; I want outta here my cousins are strange. Owen; what did you say Addie?.... Addie; all is well, all is well..life is so peaceful.

2. Any picture of Addie; she looks so much like Dana, when she was a baby, however, some Jeff is clearly showing thru.

3. Gage; your are the ultimate cuddle kid....however, looks like your ready to go major mobile...every picture of him I see, makes me miss my grandchildren so much. Wanna hold you now buddy...

4. Owen; you have the total personality of your Daddy, and I think you look like him also, with a little of the Ferry Family in there. the only nickname I can come up for you is Benjamin Button.

5. Lane; good job on the bottle...not too many pictures of you here, the babies are stealing the show...however, taking the pictures of you cousins is so cute...

This post is so long, but I gotta tell you, the comments at the beginning by you Celine is wonderful.

As I have said so many times, never, ever thought I could love anything any more than you and your sisters, however, a persons love grows beyond anything imaginable once your children have children. This time of our lives is possibly the best of our lives, nothing much before this compares to now.

As always, AWESOME pictures! You captured their personalities perfectly! How much fun to have sisters and children (cousins) close together in age. Can't wait to see your Christmas pictures with all the cousins together. I hope Gage is enjoying his quilt...if it sheds a lot, wash and dry it...the more it washes the less it sheds. :)
