on being pregnant.

thank you so much for your sweet comments on here and on facebook about our newest little baby. it means so much that you care to stop by this little tiny blog of ours!

well...you may not have been that surprised but surprised doesn't even begin to describe what we were.
shocked, stunned, speechless.
the first day we laughed. the second day i cried. and since then we've just been soaking it in.
we (ok, i) had some suspicions, and yep, the morning of april 9th they were confirmed.
we were all set to wait a bit before baby number 3.
all my hesitations on being pregnant again (so soon) sound pretty selfish and petty when it comes to the fact that there is a miracle growing inside me.
amazing.
you'd think there'd come a point were you get used to it (being pregnant).
but nope, not at all.
that first appointment we sat in the dr's office and my legs wouldn't calm down.
a precious 180 beats per minute. (same as the boys at 13 weeks)
and of course, baby number 3 isn't letting me forget about him either.
morning sickness has been morning, noon, and night.
my mom took this picture the weekend before last while we were up in in the mountains.
this is me as of late. trying hard to not get sick.

so come december 24ish (yes, christmas eve!) our home is going to get lots more crazy...as if it isn't already is:)

there is one HUGE thing that this baby has already reminded us about life...

God has a different plan for us than we thought. (which is so often the case!)
we want ANYTHING God wants for us...and this is such a gift!!
we want God's plan for us, not mine, not our agenda (no matter how great we may think it is).

to God be the glory.

i'm so excited for baby number 3!! the "kids" table is getting kind of big. pretty soon, the actual kids are going to have to have their own table in the garage. WE won't become adults though, we'll still be eating in the living room at wayne's.

we're so excited for you guys! i wonder what the baby will be! i can kind of see you with 3 boys+vance. that's my unofficial guess. it may change as it gets closer.

the cool thing about God's plan for us... is that it ALWAYS turns out better than we could have ever imagined for our own plans (even when we think our plans are pretty good.)I love watching God at work in my life and in other peoples lives. Your family is forever blessed by your new little baby. Hope you get feeling better soon!

I love it!! I am SO excited for you, Vance and the boys! I feel like its a girl...but I guess I could see a boy too! Anna told me her suspicions...so it was sooo fun to hear them confirmed!! I just get so excited...Vance is right, it isn't everyday you find out!! I will be praying for you...for morning sickness to go away, and happy boys, and a healthy mama & baby!

"it's not everyday you find out you are going to have a baby" is now making me cry for the 3rd time! just the right words to say, vance. God gives you all these babies cause he knows they are going to such a sweet family! i'm sure baby3 will fit right in, making a spot you didn't know was open. i think it might be a boy. but i am always wrong.
