you're a year and a half. already. how did that happen? and how did you get so big?! you're huge. according to the dr you are the size of an average 27 month old. every night your dad and i sneak in and look at you in your crib and say "whoa, he is just getting so big!" and you know what?...you know you are getting big. you want to do everything a big boy does. you want to use a toilet, you lay in lane's big boy bed and cover up, you refuse to not use silverware and throw a fit about having to sit in a highchair.

unfortunately, you have my sweet tooth.

sharing? good job!

the guilt of being pregnant with your little sister or brother has set in. i remember this when you were in my belly too....feeling bad that i was about to totally disrupt lane's life and the perfect little routine we had established. and now i feel the same way with you, like i'm about to ruin your life and worry about how you'll adjust.
you love your morning oatmeal!
but i shouldn't be worried, because we both know...nothing could be further from the truth! we can't imagine life without you!! and you'll adjust just fine...having a new baby in our home makes hearts bigger, and you have a big little heart.
i think you walk around like this just to make us laugh.
you are developing right on track like any typical 18 month old. you say quite a few words (lane "aine", bubble, papa, mama, daddy, peek.a.boo, tractor, ball, bike, cat, dog, book, cookie ....), you loooove to cuddle & give kisses, you throw a few number of fits daily, you are so stubborn and just plain frustrating.
you can't stand waking up before lane from nap time.
you have to go in his room and try to wake him.
here you're pointing to his gum collection, trying to sneak a piece
while he's still crashed in his bed:)
but you're anything but "typical." i look at you each day and am amazed you are mine. i thought that maybe the awe-ness would wear off with the second child, but it hasn't at all. i'm totally in awe of you and that i get to be your mama.

saying "hi!"

"enough with the pictures"

blowing kisses.

happy year and a half gagers. mama loves you.
