...in other news, since my last post, gage popped up another tooth. lane didn't have a single tooth till he was 8 months old. when i felt gage's first one, it caught me so off guard that i started crying. yes, crying. my baby is getting big.
peek-a-boo.
catching rain. if it's cloudy out he'll yell up to the sky "waaayn" "dwoops" with his tongue out.
have i mentioned we hate baby food b/c we do. not like the smell or texture or anything, just the whole process. lane was only given it b/c we felt like we should(and then, he really only had a meal of it once every other day). but it's about that time again so we gave it a shot. sweet potatoes, he loved it and so did big brother. he hasn't had a meal since, whoops.

mama finally got out some BABY toys.
a peek at what lunch time looks like with the reimers.
everyday lately we've had rainstorms in the afternoon. the rain cools off that hot afternoon sun for a cool evening outside.
we once again headed to the douglas county fair, rodeo, and parade. looking at last year i can't believe how much a baby lane was...and i was three months pregnant. am i crazy? probably. but it was a hit...again. next year both boys will be running around baa-ing and moo-ing and we'll be amazed at how much they've changed since today.
lane and the goats. he tried and tried to open their gates, can you imagine? ah.
standing in AWE at the roller coaster.

and his face...
oh yeah, and gage was there too. he hung out in the stroller with me and the kettle corn popcorn. yum-o.

but all good things must come to an end. tears and all.

the next day we hit up the parade with friends.
and baby(yep, lane rarely says his name, so we all end up calling him 'baby') slept through nearly the whole thing.
uh oh lane, you better watch it. look what gage plays with during your naps.
our typical night. going on an evening walk and then staying up too late soaking up the last bit of summer nights we have left.

for a fun play date we ventured out to what has to be one of the coolest parks in denver. the boys loved it. anxious to go back soon, like next week, this weekend?
