it's as if my oldest doesn't have any toys; he resorts to playing with sticks of (frozen) butter. i just shake my head.

he so wants to be just like his daddy.

want a free activity that will keep your kid occupied for a good hour? put water-proof toys in a bowl, fill it up with water, freeze it overnight. the next day take it out and tell them to have at it. any chance lane gets to 'destroy' something is a hit with him. (and yes, he's in underwear)

all the while, gage played in the shade.

often times after i feed gage lane feels the need to feed bunny. sigh. i've tried telling him that only girls and mama's feed their babies that way but he says "bunny hungy"

last week bampa came in town for a quick afternoon. we got to meet up with him for a bit. HIGHLIGHT of lane's week and i'm guessing bampa's too.

another GREAT activity...filling up a container with rice and letting them drive their cars around in it. (this is wild rice, not moldy rice. gross)

speaking of rice, gage got his first taste of rice cereal. the spoon went in and out of his mouth and thats it. wasn't too fond of it. instead, lane begged and begged for it. once again, sigh.

we went with some friends, amy&the boys(sam&ben) and kari&and her daughter(toria), to this place called tiny town. and it was exactly what it says it is...a tiny town, with a train. the kids loved it.

gage was so tired afterwards...he slept through an entire diaper change w/o waking up.

total mom moment...this boy started saying i love you. makes me MELT. this time...a good and totally amazing sigh.

boys being boys. and yes, more underwear.

literally, sleeping like a baby.

gage loves toes. he'll scoot and boogie his way across the floor to grab onto my toes while making supper.

saturday we headed down to castle rock's farmers market. a really fun saturday morning!

homemade soft pretzels. so good. vance and i have both said, must go again to get more. we ate them down by the creek and played around.

gage was sleeping soundly in the stroller till he was seriously almost hit by a bicyclist. well, the guy side swiped the stroller and yelp loud enough to wake him. he was a bit startled.

the creek.

sometimes you're just so happy you have to dance.

loving my gage.

bath time. lane was in there too but he wasn't quite as covered with a wash cloth as his brother. sorry to crop you out lane.

gage has been
this close to sitting on his own for the past few days. he'd get a kick out of sitting if he could hold on to something to keep him upright.

and then on sunday, all of a sudden he did it on his own. he was SO proud of himself, as were his parents:)

gage looks like you! (in the first sitting picture on the bed)
andrea, i think he looks so much like an old man in that picture.
...i am getting pretty old:)
1. all these undies must mean potty training is going well?!
2. if bunny is hungry...no other solution! i had one of kathys daycare girls tell me (as she is watching me nurse bentley) "my mom feeds my brother from her tummy too!"
you take the greatest pictures of your boys, celine! i guess it helps that they are so stinkin' cute too :)
